LG Electronics launches AI TV

LG Electronics India said it has launched 64-inch OLED C4 AI TV, in the city. The television, available across all leading retail outlets and online platforms, starts at a price of Rs 179,990.
The new launch features Artificial Intelligence (AI) upscaling capabilities to sharpen objects and backgrounds with pixel-level image analysis for improved picture quality, LG Electronics India said in an official release. This model offers real-time upscaling, enhancing the clarity and vibrancy of sub-4K OTT content, whereas AI Sound Pro feature elevates audio performance by
leveraging virtual 11.1.2 surround sound from the TV’s built-in speakers, it added.
The other features include built-in Apple AirPlay, and Google Chromecast. The webOS platform brings in user convenience with personalised settings and access to favourite content and services. Users can create up to 10 individual profiles, each with customizable home screens and personalised picture wizards. The TV also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos. A filmmaker mode and TV-matching soundbars is present, which pairs wirelessly through WowCast Built-in, to create immersive three-dimensional audio.
